The undisputed protagonists of this well-known September fund that starts and arrives in Valdobbiadene, of which you can freely retrace the route, are the Prosecco hills: steep and pointed around the village of Valdobbiadene, softer and more rounded between Pieve di Soligo and Conegliano Veneto. A landscape that looks like a mosaic of “polentine” (hillocks) covered with vineyards and wooded patches, contained to the south by the Piave. The “wall” of Ca ‘del Poggio, in San Pietro di Feletto, twinned with the Grammont Wall and the Mûr-de-Bretagne, historical ramps of the Tour de France.
