Bibione – Marano Lagunare

From via Pineda it bends towards the northeast for an itinerary that crosses the Tagliamento, beginning, from Bevazzana, boarding the suggestive lagoon of Marano. This area of rare scenic beauty is also an ecosystem of great environmental value. In the tenacious marsh vegetation inhabits rare animal species and survives the picturesque casoni of marshlands, temporary fishermen’s settlements sometimes turned into restaurants and bars. Cycling in the presence of islets, shoals, canals and the Risorgiva river. The Stella River, whose mouth is an oasis of refuge and a population of aquatic birdlife, is rich in landscape suggestions. You walk along it for a stretch and then you get to the ancient Venetian nucleus of Marano.
